I thought I would see if anyone else has this issue --

My husband is addicted to WOW, or maybe not completely addicted -- he does go to work, and he gets his other responsibilities taken care of -- but he is not much of a husband to me, and when he is on the game, I might as well not exist -- unless I agree to play with him.

The problem is really in how it affects his nine-year-old son, my step-son, Jay.

There is all this advice out there about limiting a child's time on the game. ...

I have known that Sam has been spending way too much time on gaming specifically on WOW. He spends at least 6-14 hrs/day playing it.

He is now doing internet HS as he refuses to get up and go to school with me when I leave for work. We live over 9 miles from his school so he realy needs to ride into town with me.. He has no trouble getting up to play WOW however. As far as the internet HS goes, it was that or enter the court system for truancy.

My husband and my step-son are both addicted to World of Warcraft (WOW). I actually think it's worse in my 9-year-old step-son, Jay, who is homeschooled, and who takes every non-school opportunity to play the game. He talks about the game obsessively. His life revolves around it. We've tried to interest him in other activities, but my husband, who is also addicted to WOW, acts like it's no big deal that Jay spends so much time on the game. I think my husband is kind of proud that he and ...

Hey guys,

I’ve been able to speak to a couple of you previously. I’m like one of the only female gamers in here, so thanks for taking me in.  I put up my top five list of best PSP games to date on the blog and wanted to get some feedback. I included oldies like Pursuit Force and Grand Theft Auto. Do I hear any agreement with those? Go check out my #1 also. Haha. If I’m really interested in games that I won’t get bored with after 20 minutes, what would you recommend?

Cindy

Hey all, I rather not use my real name , so I'll be known as Lifesupport on this forum. Personally I don't think computer games are BAD, they quite entertaining, but when they begin to take perference over more important things such as school, family or work, then you know its time to stop and prehaps look for help.

Just to get things rolling I thought I start a topic on what some of the most addictive games are, and what makes them so addictive. Below is a list of what I believe to ...

Computer Sexual Addiction

Thank-you for this forum. I'm hoping I might be able to find some support for a problem.

A few years ago, I was sucked into the trap of internet pornography. I became addicted to it. I looked at it every night. I even did it at work and almost got caught by my manager. (I think i did get caught but he ignored it) It has progressed to the point that I only feel sexual with my computer and not people.

Are there other people who have become sexual with their computer? Any help is appreciated.
